Kiyokazu Shidara from the Permaculture Center of Japan brought his students to visit us this afternoon. What a treat for us to chat with them — Kiyokazu did the translating. We hope they will create a similar education garden in the centre of Tokyo and Osaka. City Farmer.

Masanobu Fukuoka was a Japanese farmer who developed what many consider to be a revolutionary method of sustainable agriculture. He is also the author of "The One-Straw Revolution" and several other books examining both his philosophy and his method of farming. In this short Japanese language video Fukuoka is seen teaching the seed ball making process hands on to a group of enthusiastic students.
